Reflection

What have I learned from this project is that its been very fun and interesting, because I have finally did a research that I really liked and enjoyed. I have worked extra hard to get my point across to all the people that thought that blacks were so called "UNRULY". As a Researcher I've discovered that most of the research I've done and most of all my sources were peoples opinions. So i couldn't really use it so it made me have to change my research question to "Do you think Blacks are more outspoken than whites?" I then gather so much information that i began reading every article that seem to cover my question. I think the entire project went well except the part where i couldn't find accurate sources. The hard part was putting it all together in one. I had already known a lot about my research question the only other part was how are you going to break it down so that other people can see and get a feel for the way that you think. I really want to thank Ms.Bergman, because without her I wouldn't have been able to prove my point about blacks not being "UNRULY." I learned that a majority of the people that took my survey were ethnically and diversely differnt so you can't just say oh all blacks or whites thinks this, because then you will be wrong. But overall i loved this project and ill do it again. It had made me a better person and i've learned to respect other opinions. Thanks Ms. Bergaman your the BEST!!!

Recommendation

This project was a blast. It had some flaws but they were minor nothing I couldn't fix. Things that would have made it more interesting was that if i had a more broad question and that if i directed the questions to a behavior specialist that could give me good info that would be opinions. If i was to conduct another survey i'd as this research question as a follow up question to receive a more in depth conclusion. This research question would be "Why do people think Black peoples behavior comes from a troubled household"? The social change that could be made is that researchers could investigate a bit more in how Whites and Blacks are so called raised differently.

Conclusion

This data implied above reveals that a significant amount of people didn't care that " Black people were more outspoken than white people.". The other percent said yes while the other said no. At the end of the day it didn't answer my question it gave me a more broad general answer so it went off of topic to my question, but still answers or ties into it in a way. Even though i set out to learn about African Americans being "UNRULY". I learned about another topic that was interesting.

My Synopsis.

My source is basically about certain behaviors being linked to certain aggressions. They believe that kids develope this aggressive behavior from parents while in their adolescents days. They really don't know much about the parents behavior, but in the kids and their actions it shows that kids could have learned from the way their parents feel or acted about fighting and retaliation. Data came from 72 parents and their adolescents (aged 12 to 17 years, 89% African American. Stating that African Americans are more likely to retaliate than whites.

My Research questions

1: Do you think black people are more outspoken white People?

2: Do you think African American discipline is different than the way whites discipline their kids?

Why are black ppl most likely to be called "UNRULY?"

Why i chose this topic? I chose this topic, because i am a big fan on proving people wrong. I, also chose it, because i'm black duhh of course so i know some things about being unruly not saying that i am. I'm so interested in learning and getting to know familiar opinions of others aspect of the situtation. What do you already know about the topic? So far i personally think that i know everything from my point, but i still need the opinions from others. I know that their are going to be opinions that i'm not in favor of such as "black children having troubled childhoods." Everybody knows that isn't true. So that's why you have me to prove all that b.s. wrong and let people know the truth behind all my facts that i'll support you with.
